John Martin Joins Minnesota Wire & Cable Co. as Director of Corporate Sales

St. Paul, MN, 6/7/04 Minnesota Wire & Cable Co., a leading manufacturer of wire and custom cable assemblies for medical, defense, telecommunications and instrumentation announced today that it has hired John Martin as Director of Corporate Sales.

Mr. Martin comes to Minnesota Wire & Cable with twenty years of electronics industry experience and is the recipient of numerous industry and leadership awards for excellence.  He began his career with the defense and commercial divisions of Texas Instruments and has held key sales and marketing management positions with NEC and IBM.  His broad product knowledge includes cable and connector solutions.  He also has extensive international business experience, building and leading global sales and marketing teams.  Prior to joining the electronics industry, he served for nine years in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Martin received his BS degree in electronic technology from the Wayland Baptist University and an MA degree in business management from Central Michigan University.
