Minnesota Wire & Cable Co. Creates New Division - Minnesota Defense - to Further its Defense Contracting Capabilities
St. Paul, MN, 6/09/03 - Minnesota Wire & Cable Co. announces its new division - Minnesota Defense (MND). Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Minnesota Defense will increase the MWCC presence in the defense contracting industry. MWCC, and its division MND, offers expanded engineering and design services, including concept development, rapid prototyping, quick-turn tooling and laser mapping.

MND grew out of MWCC’s defense contracting involvement over the last 3 years. Most recently, MWCC participated in the United States Army’s Land Warrior (LW) project, focusing on electrical interconnection programs aimed at combating problems associated with such constraints as triboelectric noise problems, weight restrictions and robustness issues. MWCC received recognition from top level military personnel for their contribution.
