49 PLUS 65 AT THE KITCHEN TABLE

Forty-nine years ago Fred and Nora Wagner founded Minnesota Wire at their kitchen table. They were one of only a few local companies manufacturing wire and cable. Minnesota Wire has grown from its humble beginnings to a state-of-the-art facility that designs, engineers and manufactures life-saving Class III medical devices, satellite cables used in deep space, and has an entire division dedicated to research and development. Today, as Nora and Fred celebrate 65 years of marriage, the family tradition continues. Nearly all of the couple’s children work at Minnesota Wire and continue to break new boundaries.
