Military Communication System Wire Assemblies

Minnesota Defense’s wire & cable assemblies are lightweight and designed to excel in the military communications field. Widely used for interconnecting headsets or microphones, our custom communication cables are the perfect pair for radios, auxiliary systems, push-to-talk (PTT) systems and complicated or unique designs.

Our injection and insert molding capabilities allow us to provide a variety of over-molded mil-spec connectors. These ruggedized assemblies are combat proven and can also include shielded cables to ensure communications integrity in the field. We design our equipment to withstand the extreme temperatures that can be found in theater of war and we provide optimal performance in harsh environments.

We offer a wide variety of choices in conductor materials to best suit your application and our defense engineers can assist in managing your project to help design what you require. Beryllium copper, tinned copper, carbon fiber and radio translucent wire are all popular options that we frequently work with. PVC, HDPE and Teflon® insulation options are offered as well among others. We also have designed and fabricated cable assemblies for wiring communication systems in a range of defense automobiles, including the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) series of vehicles.
