Wire & Cable Co. To Hold "Freedom" Dedication Ceremony
St.
Paul, MN, 08/25/05 – On September 6, 2005, Minnesota Wire
& Cable Co. will host a dedication ceremony for "Freedom,"
a large memorial to honor men and women who have served in the
armed forces as well as to Minnesota Wire & Cable Co.’s
dedicated employees. The ceremony, which will take place just
prior to a St. Paul Saints baseball game, will begin at 6:00pm.
The
evening’s activities will include a presentation by the
National Eagle Center of Wabasha, featuring a live eagle. Paul
Wagner, Minnesota Wire & Cable Co.’s President and CEO
will be speaking along with keynote speaker, Saint Paul Mayor,
Randy Kelly. Joan Thompson, Minnesota Wire & Cable Co.’s
CFO stated this ceremony and memorial are dedicated," to
the men and women who serve to protect our freedom and to our
employees, who in return, provide life saving connections."
Minnesota
Wire & Cable Co. has long contributed products to the defense
industry, and since 9/11 has re-doubled its efforts to provide
innovative solutions to our men and women in uniform. The company’s
efforts in giving back to the community have also included significant
contributions to service members and their families through leadership
in the Association of the U.S. Army, the Navy League, the Defense
Alliance of Minnesota, and Comfort for Courage, a non-profit organization.
Minnesota

the St. Paul Saints and The National Eagle Center of Wabasha for
supporting the dedication ceremony. The General Public is welcome
and encouraged to attend. Photo opportunities with a live eagle
will be available following the ceremony. Minnesota Wire &
